Upstairs room booked from 14.30 'til 17.30. Meet earlier downstairs for a pre-event drink and/or a chat.
----------
Agenda:
We will hold what we hope to be the first of a series of hands-on workshops. This workshop is designed so you can take part either at the Albion or online. The topic is Dictionaries, Tables and Maps – indexing arrays with character keys, as inspired by q and kdb+.
There is a little preparation to do so the workshop can start promptly. Stephen Taylor and John ‘Jake’ Jacob will lead the workshop, using GoToMeeting for online participation. Contact Stephen (sjt@5jt.com) & Jake (editor@vector.org.uk) to register.
We shall have two sessions, an hour each, with a short break between them. There are also continuation exercises for further study and practice!
------------
Free WiFi so you can attend and work concurrently.
Next month - March - is already booked and also will be on the 20th.
Feedback and suggestions and discussion of agenda for further symposiums please to:

--------------------------------------
Please feel free to cross-post this announcement to other forums where others might be interested and re-post it here if you add anything.
