I have just heard the dreadful news about Dan Baronet. My thoughts go out to his family and friends, and to those who worked with him.

We will miss you. Rest in peace.

Yes, tragically, our community has lost a favourite son and one of its most uplifting and wayward spirits. Daniel Baronet was killed in a vehicle accident on Nov. 1, 2016, in California.

Many I have spoken with are shocked and without words, incredulous at losing someone who demonstrated so much life, and so much joy for it.

(as of Nov.04) Plans are still underway for memorial services, details to follow.
