While you only really love the sports that you played as a kid, (and I certainly didn't play soccer); even I have an interest in the allegorical drama of this particular matchup.
... After all England versus Denmark? How could there NOT be a Dyalog Zoom gathering?
Surely, a Zoom meeting on Wednesday?

Football, Tony, football !!
You can be sure there will be several ad-hoc internal meetings called on Thursday morning, ostensibly about Dyalog APL, but in reality a chance for some free and frank discussions about the match and the result.
We also got Wimbledon this week, a one day international between England and Pakistan (England are having to field a complete replacement cricket team) and of course the ongoing Tour de France, so plenty of other sport to discuss and to agree/disagree on.

And just for a bit of football culture you might not expect...
Here on the left coast of North America, we have the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), a professional team that plays out of a purpose-built football (soccer) stadium. Games, which are well attended, are broadcast live in English and Spanish, of course.
It's part of a professional league confusingly called MLS (Major League Soccer), which includes US and Canadian clubs. It has a way to go in world rankings, but (if attendance and sponsorship keep up) check back in 20 years.

Finding a pair of Nantucket reds for yesterday's Italy versus Spain game was easy, getting green sneakers to match the green shirt was hard
Today's team colors were easy

Well, what an entertaining game! It's good when the best team is also the luckiest, so you get a "fair" result, as far as that term ever makes sense in team sports with a referee, even a computer assisted one ;-).
Well done England!
I fear we'll be cheering for opposite sides on Sunday, Tony!
