Re: Is the non-commercial 17.1 64-bit only?
For version 17.1, the non-commercial licence is 64-bit only for Linux, macOS and Microsoft Windows and 32-bit only for the raspberry Pi (this has not changed for the last few versions).
For more information about the platforms supported, see https://www.dyalog.com/dyalog/current-platforms.htm
I hope that helps. Fiona

The free versions are the most widely used variants on each platform. If your friend has a real need for a 32-bit version, he should write to sales@dyalog.com and explain what he needs and why. We want people to use Dyalog APL and there is nearly always a solution to this kind of problem.

17.0, which I am using, seems to work fine on my 32-bit machine. I am not sure what is meant by 'last few versions.'

Given that I am having problems accessing email [nominally for secure email reasons], I would appreciate another channel to sales@dyalog.com
