.NET Core universal support?
Any plans to support .Net Core across Win/Mac/Nix interpreters in the near future?

As a research project yes, but we have no plans to release anything "in the near future".

Re: .NET Core universal support?
What is the current roadmap (research) for supporting one of the universal external library systems? (.NET, JS, Mono, .NET Core, Java etc) .NET is on Windows great but you can't write OS independent code that relies on any third-party libraries.
Looking specifically at libraries that work with Excel, PDF, JSON schema validators etc..
