MiServer APL Architectural Diagram

Post by woody »

Greetings.

It would really help to see a high level architectural diagram that briefly describes the LAYERS of toolsets used by the MiServer web server application.

I am guessing (as a talking point...):

MSERVER.DWS
MiServer Commands (Start, Stop) - Manages TCP/IP connections and HTTP traffic
SALT (Boot, Load) - for managing namespaces
APL Component Files (DCF) - for DrA and perhaps other purposes?
DAPL (language)
WINDOWS (or other OS)

Is this correct?

Other layers? Tools? Components?

Thanks!

Hi Woodley,

I think it's a bit more complicated than that... so, I'll try to give it some thought and post a real reply in the next day or so.

Thanks!

Thanks!

The Arch diagram would be a nice addition to the user's guide.
