Just installed newest version of dyalog under Mac OS. Install went smoothly-- no special setups. OLD MACHINE BUT Latest OS AS WELL.
But when I start it up, the session window accepts no keyboard input. I can select menu items and even type `r etc., but nothing -- standard or special-- appears in the window (can't select anything from the onscreen keyboard -- it provides HELP balloons but that's all) and nothing executes.
Other than that, it looks great;-). I'M DEAD IN THE WATER ....
Simple solutions???

Re: Running Dyalog under MAC OS
Hi Peter,
Could you get the following output and send it to support@dyalog.com please?
1. Output from Apple -> About this Mac
2. Output from Dyalog -> About from within APL (if possible)
3. A screenshot of Dyalog on your Mac
Regards,
Vince

Re: Running Dyalog under MAC OS
Hi Pete and everyone,
Pete has sent in the system information and we have found that the Mac was a little too old for our Mac Version.
In our “Dyalog for Mac OS Installation and Configuration Guide” (http://www.dyalog.com/documentation.htm#MAC) Chapter 3: Pre-requisites for Installation, we state that:
The target Mac must have been introduced in 2010 or later.
To check the year of introduction of your Mac:
1. In the Apple menu in the Terminal bar, select About This Mac.
A window detailing the technical specifications is displayed.
2. Open the Overview tab.
An overview of your Mac is displayed, including its model and when it was Introduced , for example, "Mac mini (Early 2011)" or "MacBook Pro (Mid 2014)".
Regards,
Vince
